Surface-Engineered Thermofluid Mechanisms for Next-Generation Water and Thermal Systems
ThermoFlow Technologies is an early-stage engineering R&D company focused on surface-enabled control of liquid transport and phase change. We develop and validate new thermofluid mechanisms that overcome fundamental limitations of conventional designs by manipulating how liquids nucleate, move, and recycle on engineered solid surfaces.
Our work emphasizes feasibility-scale modeling, fabrication, and benchtop experimentation, with the goal of establishing whether surface-engineered mechanisms can deliver measurable performance gains prior to scale-up and commercialization.
What we do
We translate advances in surface science and multiphase fluid dynamics into practical engineering mechanisms. Our approach is intentionally focused on early-stage validation and technical risk reduction.

Active focus
Two current research programs apply the same surface-science foundation to distinct thermofluid challenges:
- Mobile Fog-Harvesting Harp — surface-enabled drainage and airflow interaction for improved fog capture.
- PhaseJump™ Micro Cooler — surface-mediated droplet transport for passive, orientation-independent hotspot cooling.
